Electric Power

As of January 2015, the average price of electricity in Utah was 7.96 cents per KWh for commercial and 5.63 cents/kWh for industrial, well below the national averages.

Rocky Mountain Power (RMP), a subsidiary of Pacificorp, is Utah’s primary electric service provider, accounting for over 80% of electricity sales in the state of Utah. RMP consistently ranks among the lowest-cost electricity producers in the United States.
