Borsight and a2b Fulfillment Grow in Ogden
Borsight and a2b Fulfillment have selected Ogden for major expansion. Both companies selected Ogden because of its strengths in aerospace and distribution, skilled and available workforce, low cost of doing business, and excellent quality of life.

Borsight will expand their operations in Ogden with a state-of-the-art facility that will add 95 jobs and $6.3 million in capital investment. Borsight is a proven prime contractor to the United States Air Force and NATO, a master integrator of modern avionics into legacy airframes, and a creator of cutting-edge data-link and voice communication equipment. The company specializes in modernizing the avionics and mission systems of large Department of Defense (DoD) aircrafts. The company is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business which was founded in Ogden, and employs a high proportion of military veterans and recent graduates of local university engineering programs.

Ogden’s strengths in aerospace and proximity to Ogden-Hinckley Airport and Hill Air Force Base make it an ideal location for Borsight. Other aerospace companies contributing to Ogden’s aerospace industry include Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Williams International, Barnes Aerospace, Parker Hannifin, Precision Castparts Corporation, and many more.

a2b Fulfillment, a leading provider of third-party logistics services, including order fulfillment, customer care, and value-added services, will expand their operations to Ogden adding up to 75 jobs and an estimated $840,000 in capital investment. a2b Fulfillment’s specialized solutions are designed to improve the customer experience, while reducing operating costs through a variable model.  Their Ogden facility will make them one of the largest shippers by volume in the city, with 3PL services that will provide significant value to other companies in the area.

Ogden's strengths in warehouse and distribution as "The Crossroads of the West” make it an ideal location for a2b Fulfillment. Immediate access to Interstates 15, 80, and 84 provide ready access to major markets throughout the Western U.S.

“Both Borsight and a2b Fulfillment are big wins for Ogden and our community,” stated Ogden City CAO Mark Johnson. “These companies will invest heavily in the community and provide excellent employment opportunities and high-quality jobs. With assets like Ogden-Hinckley Airport and Business Depot Ogden, along with higher education offered through Weber State University and Ogden-Weber Technical College, we believe Ogden will continue to be one of the strongest contenders in the USA for the aerospace and distribution industries.”
